The hosts made our stay stand out. Elisabetta and the manager Filippo were easy to talk to, thoughtful, and helpful, with plenty of tips to make the holiday better. Breakfast was divine, all local and seasonal, and the rooms were spacious and clean. It’s in a pleasant, lively neighborhood, though the hotel itself is a peaceful retreat.

The staff’s personal attention was a highlight, especially since the hotel has only a small number of rooms. Manager Filippo gave us great local suggestions and booked visits to vineyards and olive oil producers for us. The hotel sits in an old palazzo, with a lovely garden and a pool with loungers; there’s bar service in the late afternoon and evening. It’s very peaceful, even though the historic center of Manduria is only a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was fresh, high quality, and extensive. Manduria is a handy base for exploring Puglia, with most places within an hour’s drive. The town has several good restaurants, and the hotel is a relaxing place to return to. Thanks to everyone at Palazzo Donna Elisabetta for a wonderful stay!

There are family heirlooms displayed in the halls, and they add to the special feel of the place. The renovated building blends its history with a fresh, luxurious atmosphere; the grounds are beautiful, the food is excellent, and both the owners and staff are very kind. It’s right in the heart of Manduria. I had a great stay at Palazzo Donna Elisabetta.
