We had a great view and plenty of peace and quiet. The house was top-notch.

Amazing.

We had good, prompt contact with the owner throughout, whether by WhatsApp, phone, or email, and could park both cars in the underground garage. The place was quiet and had a pool, away from the tourist crowds but still conveniently placed. Restaurants, an ice cream shop, and the market were under a 10-minute walk away. The beach took us about 25 minutes on foot, at roughly 1.8 km. The amenities were very good. Everything worked out perfectly, and we highly recommend it.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment was spacious, with three bedrooms, a kitchen-living room, two bathrooms, and a large covered terrace. It had all the necessary amenities, free air conditioning and Wi-Fi, though the connection was slow. The location was nice, about a 5-10 minute walk from the town center. There’s a large underground garage with direct access to the apartment, but it makes things very noisy. Other tenants’ dogs could be heard barking, and the tenants themselves were loud too. Quiet hours weren’t observed. We also had the impression one apartment was overcrowded, with 7-8 people and two dogs, and the pool was almost always occupied. We didn’t have a pet. The communal pool was clean and fairly large, and privacy screens separated the apartments from the neighbors. The apartment was fully equipped, but dated, and the price didn’t feel quite right. It’s at least from 2015/2016, and the age shows. Some dishes were dirty when we arrived and need replacing. The bedside lamps in the basement bedroom were disgusting, maybe dog spit?! The basement bathroom was always cold, and its shower was scaled, moldy, covered in algae, and falling apart. A shower screen over the bathtub in the ground-floor bathroom would be very practical. I can’t quite understand the 9-star reviews on the various booking sites.
