B&B Piazza Marconi

Please stay away from the “NODO PIANO” room. Our first visit three years ago, when I came with my mom, was good, so we decided to return. This time was a nightmare. Just before arriving, I noticed the WC wasn’t draining properly, leaving a lot of water along with something else. We called the manager, who sent a plumber. We thought it was fixed, but then I found that the WC’s actual drain was in the room, not the toilet. The smell afterward was awful. We stayed, thinking the problem had been solved and the smell would go away. They offered a different place 13 km away, too far for us, or a small discount, and we took the discount. The next day, I found a lot of water again, this time right by my bed. The bad smell was still there, though less noticeable because we kept the windows open. I tried to work out a solution with the property, but got nowhere. They offered to let me leave after one night instead of the two remaining and refund only that night. I didn’t accept. They repaired what they could, and I’m still waiting for a refund, though not from them, of course. The room was bad, and both the manager, Giuseppe, and the owner, Giuseppe’s aunt, were rude. I never caught her name. All I can remember about her is her lovely dog, given what happened :)
