The shower was old and barely worked, with water spraying in every direction, and there was a dirty bath mat on the floor. Two of the four towels had stains, and there was hair on the bed linen. The doors, handles, towels, sheets, and shower all felt dirty. The whole room, including the bedding and pillows, smelled of cigarettes, as did the rest of the hotel. There was no shower gel, proper soap, or shampoo. They had no hairdryer, even when asked, and no iron. There wasn't even morning coffee or a kettle to make some yourself. I don't expect luxury, just basic cleanliness. This was the dirtiest, worst-smelling hotel I've ever stayed in, and the area around it wasn't good either. Never again!

I felt sick staying in the room because it was so dirty, and spent my time out on the street. The mattresses were old and broken, with wires sticking out, and the managers were rude and arrogant. They made me leave at 8 in the morning after giving me the room at 12. It's a two-star hotel, but cleanliness should still come first. I've never stayed somewhere like this, and I was very disappointed by how the managers treated me. I highly recommend it.

We won't set foot there again. Last year they made me leave at 8 in the morning, and the hotel was dirty and in terrible condition. It looks like there's been no maintenance since the 50s. Now the owner keeps calling me to book with him, insisting on calling people every day.

I've been returning every year since 2012, even though the criticisms other reviewers mention are true. It has that vintage 1970s hotel feel. I gave it five stars for the friendly staff, strategic location, and competitive price. There's definitely room for improvement.

The staff are very kind, and the location is excellent. It's a two-star hotel, of course, with the lowest prices among the hotels in Gargano. I'd recommend it if you're looking to spend little and have a holiday.
