My single room was okay, but it wasn't modern, and there was a disgusting smell in the corridor. The location is very central and handy for walking around town, though it was noisy until 11:30 pm. The bed wasn't very comfortable either. Breakfast was supposed to be at 7:00, but we waited until 7:45. There was nobody at the restaurant or reception, and it wasn't self service, so we and some other tourists couldn't figure out what to do. After we left the keys at reception and were heading to the owner, he and his wife finally showed up, quite relaxed and in no hurry. We had an 8:00 appointment and asked for something to take with us. They gave us one nice croissant, but it wasn't worth the wait. We stayed one night.

Breakfast was downstairs in the cafe, with only croissants and juice or coffee. The room was clean and well looked after, and staff were nice. I stayed for five days. The room and bed were comfortable, and there was a fridge.

Right in the center of beautiful Maniago, with relatively inexpensive rooms and really nice employees. The owner is a chef and baker, and he clearly knows his craft. For authentic, delicious Italian pastries or lunch and dinner during your stay, this is the place. We'll definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

During the knife festival my friend and I stopped in, and I'm glad we did. We tried the day's specials: I had beef stew, and my friend had what I think was deer spaghetti. The ice cream was delicious, and the baby cheesecakes were to die for. If you're nearby, pop in and see for yourself!

The attached cafe has great food and drinks, and there is limited off street parking. The rooms are cozy, and the location is perfect for exploring Maniago on foot, with beautiful views.
