The ground-floor apartment we got was cramped, and there was hair, fur, and lint all over the floor, even in clumps. The kitchen was tiny and dirty, with neither an oven nor a microwave. The shower screen was much too small for a tall person. We did get daily reminders about checkout and washing the dishes, though. We won't stay here again.

We only stayed one night, but it was a really positive experience. Getting in was easy with the electronic keypad and code for both the outer and front doors, and booking was quick. The room was roomy and lovely, with a functional bathroom and kitchen. A microwave or small electric oven, paper towels, and maybe a little broom and dustpan would round out the already great amenities. The historic center is very close and easy to reach on foot. Congratulations 👍

My brother and father stayed here last week in Girasole, the ground-floor room I had been hoping to find. It was peaceful and spacious, with a kitchen attached, and we were happy with how clean it was and how much care had gone into the details. They also left breakfast vouchers for a nearby café on the table. I met the owner, Davide, and found him very kind and attentive to what guests need. I'd choose B&B Al Podestà again if I came back to Mantua. Thanks for everything. Katia

We spent Saturday night in the Fiori di Loto room as a couple. The apartment was in great shape and had everything we needed, with Mantua's historic center just a few steps away. A really good stay, we'd come back.
