The only drawback is that breakfast isn’t served at the house. You have to go up to a nearby café in the center. Still, I’d happily return. Carolina’s house is excellent value for money, with a clean room and a beautiful view, just a few minutes’ drive from the center. It’s definitely not walkable because the climbs are too steep. I had a wonderful experience, and the very kind lady recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Thanks, see you next time!

The owner was helpful and checked on our dog several times while he stayed in the room during the hottest hours, adjusting the air conditioning to make sure he was okay. The room was clean too. We’ll definitely return as soon as we can.

The room was clean and inviting, with new fittings, and the location made it easy to reach both the beach and the center. Mrs. Aliana was so kind and helpful.

The owner was warm and happy to offer advice when we asked. The place has what you need for a quiet, relaxing holiday: a kitchen with a gas stove, electric oven, coffee maker, kettle, and a medium-sized fridge-freezer. There’s also private parking and a little terrace with lovely views of the sea and Mount San Biagio, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. It’s close to Maratea’s historic center.

The room was modern and had all the comforts we needed. I’ve known Maratea for years, but it’s rare to find people this kind and helpful. We left hoping to see them again next year. Highly recommend it. :)
