Hotel Imperia

We stayed with my daughter and sister-in-law, and what stays with me most is how sensitively the owner dealt with a small problem my daughter had and resolved it. The staff were professional, attentive, and exceptionally kind, but that genuine care was unforgettable. The place feels welcoming as soon as you arrive, with marine colors and so many shades of blue that put you in a vacation mood. It was impeccably clean, and breakfast in the garden among the fruit trees was delicious, with a lavish buffet. There were also sweets, tea, coffee, and lemon water available all day, a thoughtful touch. I can't wait to return!

We felt right at home during our dream week here, and we'll be back and recommend it to everyone. The location is excellent by the sea, with one of the best restaurants right across from the hotel. Our clean, fresh-smelling room had a lovely balcony with a table, chairs, loungers, and a handy rack for drying towels and swimsuits. Breakfast in the garden was extraordinary, with a huge choice of plentiful, delicious food and pastries. We even brought two friends for breakfast one morning, and they were amazed. Coffee, flavored water, and pastries were available in a room around the clock. The kindness, professionalism, experience, and outstanding helpfulness made the stay. Silvia is a wonderful woman whose lovely eyes reflect that experience. Special thanks to Concetta, Camilla, Gwen, Poopay, and all the other girls who welcomed us, shared precious advice, and pampered us. A big hug from Toni and Marco.

It's an older hotel, but the central setting is quiet. Guests can help themselves to a small buffet at any hour, day or night, free of charge. Breakfast was superlative. No complaints at all. Well done!

The staff were very flexible when a blind and shower stopped working, and we had to move rooms twice. They found solutions, and we received a nice gift at the end. There are plenty of good points here: the guesthouse is beautifully placed by the sea on a lovely street, cleaned daily, and has a charming café for coffee and pastries, decorated with paintings, a sideboard, and lamps. Free parking is nearby, and the staff were helpful, gave us information, and spoke English. Breakfast was all sweet cakes and muffins, which is a regional thing, while the savory choices were repetitive, the same yellow cheese and cold cuts every day. That may not suit people who prefer savory breakfasts. Street-facing rooms get an early wake-up around 6-7 AM from street cleaning and garbage trucks, though the street becomes quiet after 11 PM. I'd stay here again :)
