Still worth five stars, with the good points outweighing the drawbacks. The team is friendly, the food is tasty and plentiful, guest parking is allocated, and the rooms are large. There are pleasant shared spaces with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a large pool. The rooms feel tired and could use freshening up, there need to be more power outlets for today's devices, and the shower cubicles are tiny. Overall, it's still great value.

We had a great time, especially with the clean, deep pool, which is large by Elba standards. Parking is convenient, and the basic kitchen and fridge do the job. A charming pedestrian path behind the hotel leads into town. The accommodation is dated, with old furniture, weak air conditioning, and patchy Wi-Fi. Marciana Marina's beach isn't useful, though the waterfront promenade is lovely, so this place works best if you have a car.

The pool was lovely and well cared for, and we had a positive stay. The property isn't new, but it is clean and maintained. Our studio was spacious, with a huge balcony that had room for dining. It wasn't fully separated from the adjoining room, but that was acceptable. The one thing I'd change is the kitchen exhaust pipe: it pointed sideways instead of upward, so the outside air felt stuffy.
