Hotel del Golfo Dépendance

I had a lovely week, though a few things cost it a star. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, both for its spread and quality, but there were too many flies. The rooms were comfortable and had excellent amenities, yet the old windows did little to block the road noise in rooms facing it. Procchio's sea wasn't especially beautiful, although they clearly make a real effort to keep the beach clean. The reception and restaurant staff were warm and knowledgeable. My biggest disappointment was one lifeguard, who was rude and poorly trained. He loudly stopped people, me included, from washing their feet at the taps by the beach exit. Apparently guests of DE'PENDANCE TRE STELLE aren't allowed this remarkable privilege. What a shame, since his behavior let down the professionalism of the rest of the team.

I'm still at the hotel as I write this, and I really don't want to leave. After a stressful year and a spell of insomnia, I'm finally sleeping through the night. The room has a lovely view, and the location is very convenient, close enough to reach the sea on foot. The B&B met my expectations. It's somewhat dated but very well maintained. The room and breakfast teams do excellent work, and Mr. Marcello at reception is especially kind and always ready with information. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with lots of savory and sweet choices. I hope I can come back.

For me, Procchio's central spot on the island makes this a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time at Hotel del Golfo's annex, right beside the main hotel. Service was excellent, and the staff were always available. Annex guests can use many of the hotel's shared amenities, all of which were excellent, including covered parking and an elevator. Some rooms also have a terrace.

We stayed for 10 lovely days, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, served on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Procchio. A special thanks to Marcello, who manages the annex, for the treats at Birra and for such good suggestions for beaches and restaurants.
