Hotel Del Golfo

The management was the biggest problem. Our car was damaged while it was parked in the hotel lot, causing thousands of euros in damage, and the hotel director showed no concern. There was no apology or help, and not even a small gesture like a complimentary dinner or discount on a future stay. It felt like a bad joke, except it wasn’t. The location is good, the food was good too, and we appreciated the kind, professional waitstaff. But our room was quite outdated, we could hear the neighboring guests as if they were in our room, and the sea right in front of the hotel wasn’t clean.

We keep coming back to Hotel del Golfo, and the staff are a big part of why. They’re fantastic and make every stay feel so pleasant. After a hot day on the water, the pool and beach are great, and the rooms are a comfortable place to cool off. There’s a short walk into town for a great gelato spot, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always delicious. It’s always lovely to be back at del Golfo.

We stayed in July and had perfect weather. The family suite had everything our family of four needed, and the sandy beach with clear water was just right. Dinner was a five-course meal each evening, with an incredible dessert bar. The hotel was incredible, and the location was perfect. I can’t wait to return.

The sea is spectacular when it’s calm. If it gets really rough, you can safely leave the hotel and take a walk in the center of Procchio. We’ve been coming to this Hotel for years, and the staff are always available. It’s recommended for families, even with small children. P.S. almost every year there’s a new gem.
