For the prices they charge, the restaurant food really isn’t worth it. A lot of dishes were bland, overcooked or simply not tasty. A few starters were okay, but the second courses weren’t. It’s disappointing, especially since it may be the only restaurant in the village. Service was also hard to get, as there didn’t seem to be enough staff to pay attention, and we had to chase them for things. It wasn’t especially bad, but the quality doesn’t justify the high prices.

The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need in this beautiful part of the island. Caterina was a perfect host and very helpful. When she saw my tired teenagers arrive after a night at club 64, she arranged an extra room for us. 🙏

The small pool by the seafront was excellent, about a five-minute walk from the hotel. We also had a clean, tidy room with thoughtful furnishings and everything we needed. We didn’t get the terrace and sea-view room, but the mattress was five-star, which is rare on the island. We happened to stop in Chiessi in mid-September, and the young staff were friendly and professional. We arrived late at night, and Diana, who was always around, understood our situation, reopened reception and showed us to the room. She was extremely kind and attentive to everything we needed over the next few days, 10/10.

The staff were consistently kind, respectful, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is a simple buffet but has a good range. From the terrace and solarium you can see both the mountains and the sea. The hotel has a captivating sea view, and the seafood restaurant is good value, with a discount for guests. Pomonte, Fetovaia, Seccheto, Cavoli and Sant’Andrea beaches are only a few kilometers away.
