The area is beautiful, the sea is crystal clear, and it isn't crowded. The view from where we stayed was breathtaking at any time of day. I read the other guests' comments, but I have no complaints. Mosquitoes were rare and didn't bother us. Our apartment had air conditioning, a double bed, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette stocked with a fridge, pots, pans, plates, forks, knives, and basically everything we needed. There was a washing machine shared with the other guests in our building, which also had a sea-view terrace. Each terrace had a table and chairs, plus a deckchair and a reclining beach chair you could take to the beach. I saw a complaint about the street. My advice is to call whoever booked the apartment for you. If it's Mrs. Desiree, she'll come down from her private apartment, the highest in the whole village, and be right there if you need anything.

Check carefully what you're booking. The apartment itself is passable, but reaching it isn't easy. The listing mentions private parking, though if there is a space, it's about 800 meters away. You can't unload luggage near the apartment, and getting there means walking down a fairly steep path. Anyone with leg or foot problems would find it impossible. This wasn't made clear, which I consider a serious issue. I contacted the agency, but they didn't provide the courtesy they had advertised. I wouldn't take another vacation with them. I stayed from September 3 to 14, 2018.

If you're after a peaceful getaway, this is an ideal spot. Zanca and Sant'Andrea are only a few kilometers away, with marked hiking trails if you're up for the walk. Chiessi and Pomonte are a little farther.

There's no reserved parking, but the apartment was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The owners were friendly without being intrusive. It's a very quiet spot, with views of the sea on both sides.
