Antony Palace Hotel

We chose this hotel for a trip to Venice and would happily stay again. The station is a short walk away, and it’s four stops to the main station by the Canale Grande. Breakfast was really good, and the bar made a great evening stop for a Negroni Spagliato, which I can highly recommend.

The staff were wonderful. I came from the USA feeling nervous and had lots of questions, and the reception team took the time to answer them and put me at ease. The hotel was beautiful, with plenty of lovely breakfast choices. The shuttle was convenient and reasonably priced. I’d recommend it especially if you’re coming to Venice for a cruise and need somewhere to stay.

We arrived on a late flight into Venice and stayed here before heading to the Dolomites the next day. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It looked well presented outside, and inside was clean and stylish. The area felt quiet and safe. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and really clean, and all the staff were friendly and professional. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport and 20 minutes from Venice old town. We went there the following morning and highly recommend it. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We found the spa a welcome extra, with a fantastic sauna, steam room, and sensory shower. From the hotel door, it takes about 30 minutes to reach Venice by train from the nearby station, and the service was reliable and very cheap. This is a good value, affordable option for a last-minute short break, and we’d definitely return. Expect a standard budget hotel, much like a Premier Inn or Ibis, with clean, basic rooms that do the job. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient, and the directions to and from central Venice were clear. It’s in the middle of an industrial area, though, with little to do and very few nearby places to eat, drink, or shop, so it works as an alternative to the island’s tourist-trap prices.
