The apartments are clean, roomy, and nicely furnished, and there's access to a sauna. The host was great too. It's a lovely quiet spot, but the mountain roads are narrow, so you need a car.

A handy base for skiing at Kronplatz, and Plose, Cortina, and Lagazuoi are also within reach for skiing or trekking. In winter, getting to Plose means going through the Pusteria valley because Erbe pass is closed. The owner is really friendly. Grazie Lisa.

We loved the chance to have fresh cow's milk and try products from the farm. Lisa and her husband, Pepi, made us feel so welcome during our August stay at Corjel farm, and the new apartments were beautiful and fully equipped. The location is a great base, though getting there may be a bit challenging for some. From the attic, the peaceful setting and breathtaking view more than made up for that. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

The welcome was what made this stay so special. Lisa, the owner, is warm, lively, authentic, and generous. She greeted us with amazing cookies, then baked more when she realized how much I liked them. We got to sample three homemade cakes, took home a jar of their jam, and she offered us a couple of appetizers she'd made. She also filled us up with plums from her tree, the best I've ever tasted, and gave us tips for lovely walks. We even had fresh milk from their cows every morning! We've been visiting the Dolomites for decades, so we're fussy about where we stay. A place has to be comfortable and beautiful, like a gnome's house, and Corjel farm was just that. The surroundings are fairytale-like too, as they seem to be all over South Tyrol. We found a treasure! 💚
