Alpine Chalet Sauter

We had a great time in San Vigilio and at Alpine Chalet Sauter. The apartments feel new, cozy and like home, with everything provided. They were very clean, and the wood decor gave the flat a lovely wood scent. There’s parking, ski storage and a balcony overlooking the village or slopes. The owners live in the same building, are kind, and are always around. Having a supermarket downstairs is handy, and the cross-country trails are two minutes away on foot, as are the walking paths in Fanes park. You can walk to the ski slopes and summer excursions too, or take the ski bus. Summer looks like a paradise for mountain biking. Thanks to Mrs Helga and family for being so flexible about our needs!

It was ok.

We were glad to have a garage for the car and ski storage right beside it. The apartment at Alpine Chalet Sauter was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped, with clean, well-kept rooms and warm decor that made us feel at home. The beds were especially comfortable. From the center of St. Vigil, we enjoyed the mountain views and the quiet, with nature close by. The owner was welcoming, attentive to the details of our stay and happy to share local tips. Thanks also for returning the item we lost. There’s a clean, well-stocked Spar downstairs, and restaurants nearby, so we could cook or eat out. Hiking trails, ski slopes and other activities are close, making this a good choice for a relaxing or active holiday. We’d happily recommend it in any season and would love to come back in summer.

The hostess was patient with all our questions and gave us useful tips about the region. We spent 10 days in the “la Fü” apartment, one of the best places we’ve rented. It’s cozy, with lots of wood, quality furnishings and special lime plaster that added to the relaxing feel. The infrared sauna was fantastic. The SPAR downstairs also makes the chalet’s village location especially convenient. We highly recommend a stay here.
