Christophorus Mountain Residence

We’d happily stay here again. The room was spacious and very clean, and the hosts made us feel welcome. Service was really good, and the relaxing spa had a Finnish sauna that felt just as good as the ones back in Finland. It was handy to have laundry facilities too.

We loved the daily breakfast and the sauna and spa area. They provided robes and extra towels, and there was tea in the relaxation room. The big outdoor hot tub was great, and the ski room had heated lockers for all our gear. The hosts, brothers Robert and Christoph, were kind, helpful, and went out of their way for us. The whole house feels cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful design and practical details. Our spacious room had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. The kids slept on the pull-out couch, which opened into a huge bed, and we still had plenty of room in the shared area. The house sits in the middle of the village, looking out over the market square and church. Everything is within a five-minute walk, including a little ski lift just behind the house that connects to the rest of the Kronplatz Ski Resort. I’d highly recommend both this hotel and the charming village. Now I’m tempted to come back in summer or fall.

The rooms were just right, and the owner was really nice. The ski lifts are very close by.

The spa was the highlight for me. Your room key opens your own locker with fresh towels, and there’s ski storage with boot dryers, plus the saunas and wellness room. Robert was a big help when we needed transport, and Christoff gave us very personal service. The shop on site is well stocked too. We were made to feel comfortable from the easy check-in and personal tour through to the amazing breakfast the next morning. Our room had a very comfortable bed, robes for the spa, a balcony with incredible views of the ski slope, and a kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes. This stay was a trip highlight, and one I’ll remember for years.
