What a winter break in one of the Dolomites' most picturesque villages. Staying at this family-run residence completed the picture, and it's definitely somewhere we'll come back to soon. You should check it out for yourself, but please keep it low profile...

That view over the San Vigilio slopes was spectacular, and the ski bus stopped right outside, practically at the terminus. We got seats every morning. Covered parking was another big plus. We spent a week at Residence Moelgg in February 2026. The house feels beautiful and welcoming, with carefully finished furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, roomy living areas, and so many closets that we kept things tidy all week. Usually in hotel rooms our stuff ends up in piles in every corner. After skiing, the comfortable shower and infrared cabin were great for relaxing sore muscles. There’s also a modern, well-equipped gym and a handy ski room. The Moelgg family were warm and always ready to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast stood out too, with lots of authentic products. The farmer's butter is a delight. And we got to chat with two great Italian Alpine skiing champions. We can’t wait to come back!
