We were four, a couple and two friends, and the room layout worked perfectly for us. There wasn’t a half-board option, though we did enjoy the vegetable soup. The setting among the beautiful mountains is excellent, and our balcony looked out onto a million-dollar view. Very impressive.

At Pederü, the view made every step worthwhile, and we stopped for lunch there. The food was very tasty and the people were kind. The hike from San Vigilio di Marebbe follows a lovely woodland path, with magnificent mountain scenery all the way and the sound of a crystal-clear river. I highly recommend the visit.

I felt safe here as a solo female trekker on my Alta Via hike. The refuge can get busy since you can reach it by bus, but I still had a delightful stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the views outstanding, the staff friendly, and the food excellent. Highly recommend.

We had the best food of our AV1 trek here. You can get spring water outside the refugio, and it’s a beautiful place in an amazing location for a stay. There’s bus service, so it’s popular with day trippers too. The staff and rooms were nice.
