Camping here is fantastic. The beach is really close, and at night you can hear waves crashing against the rocks. Majestic. If you’re in the area, it’s a must.

The staff are fantastic and welcoming, and the restaurant serves Cilento cuisine. There’s also a small convenience shop for essentials. The pitches are spacious and the facilities modern at this lovely RV and camping area just outside Marina di Camerota. I’d suggest improving the WiFi and the waste disposal area, though that setup can work for people who enjoy boating. The same management runs a kiosk down on the beach. A relaxing stay in nature, highly recommended. Well done!

They’ve monopolized access to the beach, and the management is terrible and haughty. Parking the car alone costs €15, before you even pay for umbrellas. There are no hot showers on the beaches. The campsite showers cost €1 each, but some are broken and swallow your tokens. Avoid it and go on your own or to other beaches.

I only went to Sombrero beach. It was a charming spot, simply run by a family, with very reasonable prices. The owner of the beach was really kind and friendly.

Porticello Village has come back to life under the new management. There’s a warm welcome from the staff, and the restaurant serves Cilento cuisine. The renovated apartments, new pitches, ample parking, flowerbeds, and new, convenient slopes are all part of the changes. The road down to the beach has been fully redone, including the walls. People who really know this place will always want to return!
