Happy Hotel

The view from my room was unbeatable and made the stay feel perfect. I wasn't after anything fancy when choosing a place in Versilia, just a good price, and this was the best deal I found. The room was clean and thoughtfully arranged. It may be a simple place, but the staff were very helpful whenever I needed extras, from towels and body wash to more hangers, and they also offered useful ideas about what to do and where to go. I came back from my Tuscan trip with a very positive impression. I'd happily return and recommend it.

The triple room had a huge balcony, and parking was ample and secure. Breakfast was better than the usual Italian standard, with a coffee machine, tea, juice, soy and cow's milk, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and cake. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and getting here from the autostrada was fairly easy. The water was very hot and the pressure was great. A shower curtain or glass would be useful, though it didn't bother us much. The wall could also use a picture or something. Good value for money.

The staff really did their best to make our one-night stop pleasant. The place has potential, with private parking and a spot close to the beach, but the inside of the building needs work and a refresh could improve a lot. At around 90 euros a night, the price felt too high. The rooms gave me a hospital-like feeling, and the bathroom wasn't among the cleanest I've seen, though the sheets were clean. Breakfast was all right, but the products were cheap and mostly tasteless, so I didn't enjoy it.

It's simple and affordable, with a lovely view from the balcony. The public beach is a five-minute walk away, and parking is good. The shower cubicle in the room felt a little small to me. We skipped breakfast because there are cafes and grocery shops near the hotel, and we had no trouble finding vegan food.
