Hotel Sablé

The big room, good coffee, working WiFi, daily fresh towels, smart TV, and great roller blinds that make the room dark were all welcome. Breakfast is included and stays out a bit longer, which is lovely. The suite also has a huge terrace, and the whole hotel is very clean. The ladies working here are truly lovely and helpful, and we had a lovely stay at Sable. A couple of things could improve as the new or renovated hotel settles in. The man in the breakfast room was quite grumpy, unlike everyone else, though maybe he was having a bad week. There’s no umbrella on the terrace, so there’s nowhere to get out of the sun while sitting outside. Mornings can be noisy, so bring earplugs. The hotel is at the end of the marina, and we found e-bikes really useful for getting to the beach bar and Pietrasanta the town. Don’t count on taxis here, so have a car or bicycles. The bathroom provides shower gel only, and there’s no safe in the room.

I spent a weekend here with my family. It’s a freshly renovated hotel with very nice staff, and I can only give it five stars.

We’ve found our favorite hotel. It’s such a welcoming place, with comfortable, clean rooms and a really top-notch breakfast of both sweet and savory items made with quality products. The staff are lovely, kind, and super helpful.

The beach is only 300 meters away, an easy walk in a few minutes. We’ll definitely return for the hotel’s beauty, practical setup, convenient location, and kind staff. The receptionist made a great first impression, smiling, helpful, and happy to suggest local places. Everyone on the team was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful, which made the stay relaxing. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with a small but handy walk-in closet beside the bed. The balcony looked onto the internal garden and bike park, where the bikes all had elegant leather saddles. The air conditioning switches off automatically when a window is opened, a clever, practical detail. The bathroom was modern and clean, though the shower was a little small and had no shelf for toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food and plenty of choice: scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, cold cuts, fresh and grilled vegetables, croissants, cakes, biscuits, yogurt, and cereals. There were also juices, flavored water, a Nespresso machine, tea, fresh and packaged bread, including gluten-free, and a toaster. The care in the details really shows. After 10:30 PM, the ZTL, or Limited Traffic Zone, takes effect and includes the hotel. The hotel gives guests a permit to drive in. To reach the rooms, you cross the internal garden and take an external elevator that works with a personal code given at check-in. It felt practical and safe. Street parking is free, with parking allowed on one side and prohibited on the other. We usually found a spot, and it was within the ZTL, which is a real bonus if you arrive by car.
