Not worth the money. It’s a 3 star hotel charging 4-star prices. The rooms and bathrooms were old and dirty, and management seemed to be squeezing guests for as much profit as possible.

The pool area was great, and breakfast was nice. Our rooms were small but efficient and well designed. The Wi-Fi was VERY unreliable, and attempts to get it fixed were ignored. The website says the beach is a two-minute walk, but it’s more like 5-10 minutes, and then you reach private beaches where shade and chairs cost extra. Staff were professional but didn’t anticipate what we might need. Signs said they had arrangements with vendors for beach chairs and shade, but when we asked the front desk to book a spot, they were sold out. If someone had asked at check-in whether we wanted that service, the experience would have been much better. The price and value don’t line up well here.

The owner, Paula, was rude and unprofessional, and management seemed not to care beyond getting our money. I ended up having a major panic attack and was taken to hospital. The whole regime felt rigid rather than relaxed, and the waiting staff acted very militantly, without much style or manners. It’s probably the worst spa I’ve stayed at, like mutton dressed as lamb. They only wear their masks when it suits them. There was no English-speaking staff. This hotel resort spa isn’t worth spending money on. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Once you’re inside, you can enjoy a harmonious, relaxed atmosphere that feels far removed from the nearby public streets, despite the hotel’s position. The staff and Director deserve credit for that. It’s a nice hotel in famous Versilia, the Italian Riviera, though the location itself isn’t particularly special. The aperitif and the many other hotel activities were very nice. Please enjoy!
