The reception team made a big difference for us. One of the women even collected our personal things from Pisa after we had left them behind before arriving. The rooms and hotel have been renovated, and they looked much newer than several places I’d seen online. Forte dei Marmi is easy to reach by car, and you can rent a bike too. We’d happily stay again.

For the final three nights of our honeymoon, we were given a suite once the staff learned we were newlyweds. We really appreciated the upgrade. It had a balcony with lovely views of both the mountains and the sea. The room was fresh and clean, and breakfast was good. We had a great stay.

I was only there for one night before having to leave for personal reasons, but the staff did their best to make my stay a good one. Daniela deserves a special thank you for helping me sort things out and driving me to Pietrasanta, where transport was limited during the off-season. The hotel is in a lovely spot near a private beach and has what you need for a comfortable stay.

Francesco, the owner, was very nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel has plenty of outdoor parking, and the beach bearing the same name is about a five-minute walk away. Our room was clean, new, and furnished in a modern style. We were happy here and would stay again if we return to Forte.

The location is really good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was excellent, though the orange juice seemed not to be made from fruit, which was disappointing. The staff were great, and I liked the decor in the main hall. For a four-star hotel, I did miss some room basics like slippers, a kettle, or more than two pillows.
