It’s a comfortable, clean hotel with a good breakfast, even by American continental standards. I liked the European style, and the views from the hillside and balconies are spectacular. There’s a nearby train connection and a hotel shuttle, though it’s also a nice escape from the city. I took off a star because some housekeeping and facility improvements are needed, but nothing made the stay unpleasant.

The views were amazing, and the coffee was good. Beyond that, though, the stay was disappointing. Wi-Fi cost 10€ a day and only worked in the lobby. Each bed had one thin, worn pillow, and the front desk said I couldn’t get another. Two people in my group had AC units that stayed broken throughout the visit, despite being told by service they’d be fixed. If a view with your morning coffee is all you’re after, this might suit you.

The pool looks great, but it isn’t heated, so I wouldn’t recommend it when the weather’s not hot. The rooms are tidy and everything’s in order, though the old-fashioned style isn’t really my preference.

We had a beautiful wedding at Helio Cabala 23 Giugno 2019 🥰 The place, view, menu, and staff were all great. Thank you so much, highly recommended! 😍😇🥇🏆❤️

There were lots of breakfast choices, and the view was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, too.
