Giardino Marling

Our favorite was the sky pool, where it felt like swimming in the sky above the view of Merano and the apple orchards. The panorama was incredible from nearly everywhere, including our comfortable room, the exercise and spa area, and the breakfast and dining terrace. We enjoyed fresh, delicious meals there in a quiet, relaxing setting. The beautiful, spacious hotel gave us a real sense of newfound freedom as soon as we arrived. The owners, managers, and staff were welcoming and attentive to every detail, and made us feel special. Thank you, Giardino!

We had a wonderful week at Giardino Marling during the July heatwave, and the whole team and owner made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. The property was meticulously cared for, with attention to every detail you'd expect from a hotel like this. The restaurant was amazing, so we ate there almost every day. We really appreciated the creativity and quality the kitchen staff put into each entree. We look forward to returning, thanks to you all!

The rooms are spacious and great, and the balcony or terrace has an amazing valley view. The hotel itself is very nice. We did run into a few housekeeping issues, like dirty glasses and shower gel that hadn't been refilled, and had to call to get them addressed. The jacuzzi was cold too. Everything was sorted out in the end.

Work sometimes forces me to change travel plans, so I take out travel insurance. It's worth having, since you never know what cancellation rules will apply, especially when traveling abroad. That happened with Giardino Marling: I booked shortly after it opened on April 5th, then work got in the way and I had to cancel. I followed the protocol and rebooked for August, when there's little chance I'll need to cancel. Can't wait to go!
