The kitchen was very well equipped, and we felt right at home with the lovely hosts. It's in a great spot, with fantastic views across Merano and the surrounding area. We'd gladly return.

We spent 7 nights here as a family and immediately felt at home. The house was welcoming and clean, with a lovely view and a garden where the kids could play. It's conveniently close to Merano, and there's free parking on site.

That vineyard hillside setting is genuinely lovely, and we had a much warmer time with people in Merano. But my family and I stayed in this house about 3-4 months ago, and we didn't feel like guests there. We felt more like an inconvenience whose money was wanted. The holiday apartment inside the house was worn, with old furniture and sagging mattresses, so the nights and evenings weren't comfortable. The kitchen was sparsely equipped. When I mentioned missing basics like scissors, I was told the residents gather their things from the other apartments because guests usually stay in two apartments. We didn't experience South Tyrolean hospitality at the accommodation. We definitely want to return to Merano, just not to this place.

We spent a week hiking here after 14 days at Lake Garda, staying in the upper apartment with a stunning view over Merano and the surrounding area. It was modern, especially the bathroom, and having its own elevator made loading and unloading much easier. The location is wonderfully quiet. We left the car at home all week, and I'd recommend using the Merano Card. Definitely recommend this place!

The Hölzl family gave us a warm welcome. The renovated rooms were super clean, and the property was excellent value for money. It's well located near Merano and works well for families.
