We come back every year and plan to keep doing so. The views are beautiful, and the pool and garden are great. It’s peaceful, well equipped, and the terrace is a fantastic place to eat. Mara and Yuri are lovely hosts, always friendly and generous. If you’re after a holiday away from everything, this place feels like paradise to me.

The apartment is gorgeous, with a very well equipped kitchen, and the price we paid made it feel like a real gem. It’s quite remote, which is exactly what I loved. So peaceful!

We came for Lucca Comics and Games and found a real haven away from traffic and noise. The house is spacious, with two separate double bedrooms and a living room sofa bed, so it can sleep up to seven. The kitchen has dishes, a microwave, oven, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer, plus there’s a separate washing machine. In the garden, the private pool is open only in summer, and there’s a lovely panoramic patio for eating outside along with a barbecue. The owner and her son were extremely kind and helpful. They even treated us to a glass of prosecco and their own extra virgin olive oil, fresh from the mill. Everything was perfect. Just take care on the way there: it’s a narrow, winding mountain road, especially at night and when meeting other vehicles at intersections. Lucca is about 40 km away, but the drive is doable.
