We came back to this B&B after a long break, and it made just as good an impression as before. We’d only stayed in summer previously, but our visit in the cold season was just as positive. The house was already warm when we arrived, and everything was extremely clean, with fresh, newly laundered sheets. In the morning, there were fresh croissants and coffee made to order. The hostess was kind and helpful, and knows the area well, so she’s happy to give advice or help with whatever you need. There’s one shared bathroom. Since we were all one group, that wasn’t an issue, and I don’t think it would be in any case. Maybe we’ll return in spring, a season we haven’t experienced here yet.

The B&B was a comfortable base for our trip to Marradi for the chestnut festival. We brought our bikes, picked chestnuts in a grove, and rode through the mountains. There’s bike storage, the room was spacious, and breakfast was good. Best of all was the poetic sound of the Lamone River flowing at night. Andrea and Giulia

This family-run B&B is very close to the city center. I just got back from a weekend there with friends, and we were warmly welcomed. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast included excellent honey. I highly recommend it.
