The sunset by the pool was mesmerizing, and our guests were very comfortable staying in the rooms. We chose Baglio Donna Franca for both our wedding ceremony and reception, and Paola and her team helped us bring our vision to life across the venue. Communication was very good all the way through. The vineyard's wine was delicious, and several of our guests, along with us, took bottles home to the UK.

We came to relax in a peaceful country setting, and it was a great place for that. Our room was charming, well appointed, and looked out over the vineyard. The food and wine were lovely, the service was great, and the wine tour was interesting. The mattress was very firm, as others on our tour mentioned too. The 18th-century Baglio has been thoughtfully renovated.

Manuela knew a lot and was glad to answer all our questions during the group tasting. We had a lovely meal as well, and the local organic wines were very good, each with its own character.

The food and wine were very good, and our waiter was so helpful and polite, always smiling. We didn't catch his name. The front desk ladies weren't as friendly, though. We loved the stone walls and the Sicilian feel of the place. We were there in April, so couldn't enjoy the lovely pool. The floor was chilly, and a couple of rugs beside the bed would help. We'd definitely recommend it for its charm.

The enologo was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the Baglio has been beautifully restored in an idyllic spot, only a 15-minute drive from the famous Saline. We tried three wines, loved the Grillo and the Andes’s, and liked the Nero d’Avila less. We didn't stay overnight because the accommodation looked dated in the photos and because of the reviews. If that improves, we'd consider staying. Complimenti!
