I was there in summer 2019, and what I still remember most is how kind the whole family was. The house is out in the countryside, but you can get around easily by car. Marsala and the lovely beaches are about a 15-20 minute drive away. Highly recommended.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, and staying there was a pleasure. The apartment is the best I’ve ever stayed in, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two kitchens. It also has roof access, and there’s plenty of parking for the car. The furniture is practical, with everything needed for cooking. It’s between Marsala and Trapani, both easy to reach by car.

Five stars don’t feel like enough. Casale Stagnone is a peaceful spot in nature, with the scents and flavors of Sicily all around. The apartment feels warm and has every comfort, furnished with care. Giuseppina and Piero are wonderful hosts who make sure guests have what they need. Breakfast includes high-quality local products.

A lovely base for exploring western Sicily. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful, and breakfast is a treat, with homemade jams and spectacular bread.
