Just a two-minute stroll from the heart of Marsala, this is a beautiful historic home, spotless and full of history. Once you step inside, it feels like traveling back a century or two, while still having all the modern comforts. Marsala itself is a lovely town, rich in history, human-made beauty, and natural beauty. Don’t be put off by the hosts’ age. This has been their family home for centuries, and staying here makes for a truly memorable experience.

From the street, the facade gave no hint of the home’s history, so stepping inside was a surprise. We found family furniture passed down through generations, lovely tiles, painted ceilings, and old paintings, all full of memorabilia. A charming place in a charming little Sicilian town, just a few minutes on foot from the zona pedonale and main square. Easy, simple, and fairly priced.

This little gem is right in the city center, so you can walk straight into town. The rooms have beautiful painted ceilings and lots of mosaic on the floors, and the beds are fine. There’s a kitchen, but the bathrooms are shared. You can’t park directly outside, and it does get a bit noisy at night.

The period furnishings give the home a fairytale feel, and every little detail is cared for. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I’d recommend it to everyone.
