We paid in a hurry just to get the meal over with, then noticed later that we’d been charged for a second glass of wine we never ordered. The manager also seemed unconcerned about conservation: the lobster served was a female bearing eggs, a catch that is heavily discouraged to protect the species’ reproduction cycle. Food-wise, the dishes were largely overrated, and the pictures looked nothing like what we were served, as other recent reviews had said. I can’t say whether the chef has changed, but the balance was off throughout. One antipasto was far too salty panella topped with slimy raw fish and three drops of sweet-spicy Asian sauce that tasted like a supermarket product. The other had way too much chocolate for a savory dish. After the antipasti, we were given the dessert menu, as they’d either forgotten or ignored our main-course order. That can happen, fine, but when the pasta finally arrived, whole mint leaves completely overpowered the seafood. The plating attempt was unprofessional too, with three dried-out green peas placed beside it. The menu itself was poorly laid out and translated, and the wines weren't grouped by type. The grissini were completely stale. Only two wines could be ordered by the glass, with no prosecco, and one of those two wasn't available. To be fair, they did offer a third by-the-glass option when that happened. On top of it all, the chef's replies to reviews here are completely unprofessional, though we only realized that afterwards. Dishonest, overrated food, and no care for animal conservation.

The waiter told me the fish had been swimming in the sea that very morning. It was incredibly fresh and tasty, one of the best places to try real Sicilian Tuna fish.

The staff were so friendly, and every one of the seven menu items we tried was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing. We'll be back!

We had two lovely nights in this place right in Marsala's historic center. It has a family feel, and you can sense the staff's passion and care. The restaurant is looked after down to the smallest detail, with quality products, and both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Thank you.
