Everything else worked out well, and we were happy with the stay. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, new, and nicely furnished. We spent a night here as a family, and the welcome included a quick explanation of things and suggestions for sights around Marsala and places to eat. It’s only a few meters from the Marsala seafront. One issue: Booking said Italian breakfast was included, but none was served, so those details should be checked.

The apartments were very comfortable, and the price felt excellent for what we got. I was lucky to find this brand-new residence after reading the reviews, and I enjoyed my stay a lot. The owner was always available. I’d already told them I planned to leave a positive review, because they really earned it. Warm regards!

I’d read glowing Booking.com reviews and liked the photos, especially the advertised deal. But that price turned out to be a tactic to push the property higher in local listings. They charged my prepaid card much more than the price I’d seen, without warning me beforehand. Other reviews made it clear that this had happened to other people too. Some stayed anyway, particularly since cancellation costs €60 even if you cancel within two minutes of booking. I contacted Booking.com, and they refunded me. I had to pay €35 rather than €60 to cancel, and they said they would take action against the property. I then booked somewhere else at a fair price, with no surprises.

We were welcomed so well by the staff, and the apartments are new. The location is really handy, just steps from the historic center, beaches, and salt pans. We’ll be back soon, highly recommend it.

Modern, airy, spotless apartments that even smelled fresh. We had such a good stay that if we come back to Marsala, this will be our first choice. Definitely recommend!
