Villetta Airone

We traveled with our child and dog, and Villetta Airone suited us perfectly. The hosts were lovely and greeted us with a basket of essentials, which saved us a supermarket trip. We especially appreciated the breakfasts. The villa was new and spotlessly clean, and fully equipped for what we needed. The garden has a neat lawn, a play area, and a patio with sofas, armchairs and a table for eating outside. Indoors, the spacious living room is air-conditioned. The kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, blender and different kinds of moka pots, among other things. There’s a laundry room and washing machine in the bathroom. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a small terrace, sofa and views over the Stagnone, plus air conditioning and a second bathroom with shower. It’s in a handy spot, about 7 km from central Marsala and around 20 km from Trapani. The sunset over the salt flats is reachable on foot: the cycle and walking path starts on the road opposite the house, and it’s about a 2 km walk to the photographic spot. A supermarket, bar, tobacconist and pharmacy are all within 2 km. We highly recommend it, and send our compliments to the hosts.
