Casale di Buccole

Stephanie deserves special thanks for her excellent cooking, including typical Umbrian dishes and more, always served with a smile and great delicacy. Sandra and her husband, Salvatore, were gracious hosts, present and attentive, and the staff were ready to help with every need. The farmhouse sits high on a hill, reached by a gravel road winding through the landscape, and the 360-degree views are breathtaking. It was wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a lovely place to unwind. We highly recommend it.

Casale di Buccole is a five-star experience, and I highly recommend it. The spa was a little paradise, run with care and professionalism, with stunning views across the Umbrian valleys and olive groves stretching into the distance. The food was top-notch, and the rooms felt made for resting and unwinding. The 19th-century property has been carefully restored, preserving its historic character while paying close attention to detail.

The farmhouse is lovely, with a hilltop view over the valleys, a green, well-kept lawn, an outdoor pool, and a noteworthy spa. The staff were friendly and always smiling, and the food was good. Gluten-free options are available. Still, the meal wasn't quite what I'd hoped for given the setting, and there are some things to know. The final kilometer to the property is a rocky dirt road that may be difficult without an SUV. Drinks aren't included and are added to the final bill, though neither point is mentioned on the website. The property is dog-friendly, also not mentioned online. We found ourselves sharing the dinner tables and pool with dogs, which we didn't appreciate. At the lounge area under the olive trees, dogs sometimes did their business right beside you. Guests come here seeking tranquility above all. The minibar in our room was so noisy we had to unplug it to sleep, and some spa maintenance could be improved. I hope the managers take these details as constructive feedback.

A wonderfully peaceful place for a relaxing, rejuvenating stay. The staff were extremely friendly, and the owner was a real asset, always available with suggestions for nearby attractions. Those places turned out to be truly surprising.
