Waking up to the Umbrian countryside from La Corte del Daino was priceless. My girlfriend, our little dog, and I stayed for four days, and the B&B felt rustic and welcoming. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. Mercatello is a great central base for exploring the region, especially Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the owner was kind, always available, and made us feel at home. I’d choose La Corte del Daino again if I came back to Umbria.

The garden is a lovely place to sit and chat, and there’s convenient private parking. This charming B&B is handy for Lake Trasimeno and Panicale, a beautiful medieval Umbrian village that’s less known than many iconic spots but just as charming. The owner is welcoming, helpful, discreet, and precise. He suggested restaurants we shouldn’t miss and divine wines. The room was pleasant, spacious, and rustic. We’ll definitely return!

We were only there for one night, unfortunately. Gabriele, the owner, is a wonderful person, and breakfast was excellent. The farmhouse is peaceful, surrounded by greenery, and has parking on site. We stayed for a Sunday walk around the city; many attractions are close by, which made it very convenient. Recommended all around.

We booked four rooms for a nearby wedding and had a wonderful stay. They were tidy, clean, and well equipped. The owner’s courtesy and patience really add to the place.
