One of the best places in its category. It's family-run and works well for children and young people of all ages.

The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the owners are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The cooking is fantastic too. I've been coming to this inn year after year, in every season, and it still gives me the same joy. The setting in the green Umbrian hills is stunning.

Antonella and Marcelo made our stay especially lovely. Antonella's cooking was excellent, full of flavor and generous in portions, with fresh pasta, organic vegetables, and local meats in the Umbrian tradition. Marcelo, her delightful Brazilian husband, makes superb desserts. I even came away with recipes for a couple of cakes. The farmhouse was welcoming for my family: two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, a twin room, a spacious living room with a fireplace for winter, big windows, and an eat-in kitchen. Exposed wooden beams and thoughtful furnishings run throughout. We stayed in Mercatello di Marsciano, about a half-hour drive from Perugia, at Locanda delle Noci, a lovely property made up of several farmhouses amid beautifully kept greenery. There are colorful fabric hammocks, playgrounds, places to sit and relax, a large soccer field beside a volleyball court, and a play area with foosball, darts, ping pong, and a bouncy castle. The pool has a beautiful hedge around it, and there’s a magnificent natural stone outdoor shower that invites you to daydream. Flowers fill the pergolas and seating areas with fragrance, and wooden parrots from Brazil decorate the corners. It’s a wonderful place to unwind, relax in the hammocks, and enjoy Antonella and Marcelo's hospitality.
