The staff were very welcoming, and it was great value for money. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well looked after, with good outdoor facilities including a pool and chairs. Breakfast had a nice range of choices, especially the homemade bruschetta. The location made it easy to reach nearby towns. It could get a little noisy at certain times because it’s near a main local road, but traffic couldn’t be heard from the rooms. A memorable place for a couple of days in the region. I’d love to return.

Martano was just a three-minute drive away, with places for dinner and gelato as well as a pharmacy. The location also made a handy base between Otranto and Lecce, with easy access to lots of coastal spots. It works really well for a road trip through southern Puglia. The property is beautiful and peaceful, with fruit and flower trees, cacti, and other local plants in the landscaping. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bed, wooden furniture, and simple, pleasing decor. We especially liked the indoor alcove, where our friends and we gathered for wine every night. Paola and her team were so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home. Breakfast was beyond anything we’d had before. We ate a lot, and it was all delicious. Thank you, Paola and team!

You’ll need a car, since there’s no public transport around. The staff are really friendly, and you can manage to some extent in English, though Google Translate will come in handy. Breakfast has to be selected ahead of time using a form in the room. It’s in Italian, and there aren’t many savory options to choose from.

A lovely place to come in the low season, when it’s quiet, the weather is warm, and the surroundings are full of nature. This old masseria has been completely renovated into a comfortable spot to rest and recharge, among olive groves and vineyards. The staff are kind and very attentive, and the breakfast is delicious with lots of variety.
