B&B Palazzo Giorgi

A lovely little hotel with great hosts!

There wasn’t a safe in my room, and I took off a star because there’s no elevator, though I imagine that’s not an option in a historic building. Still, I really liked the B&B and would gladly return if I had the chance. The room felt welcoming and bright, with two windows. The bed was comfortable and warm, and the closet had extra blankets, which came in handy. There was a kettle with chamomile tea bags, too. The bathroom was spacious, modern, and functional. It’s a characteristic B&B in Martina Franca’s historic center, just a short walk from the Basilica of San Martino, the town center, bars, and shops. The woman who welcomed us was very kind, explained how everything worked, and showed us our room.

The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable in a beautiful old building with frescoed vaults. The only small downsides are tied to the building’s age and its location in the center of Martina Franca: there’s no elevator, and getting there by car is difficult.

Elegant place in an excellent spot in the city center. Martina Franca has plenty of parking options, though not in the historic center.
