The pine forest was a lovely feature, with a picnic spot and a circular path through it. There were also several cats to pet, plus a nearby stable and riding school with Murgese horses. The grounds were cared for, parking was easy, and our room had good mosquito protection and everything we needed. We stayed at Casale dei Pini while road-tripping through Puglia. Booking and arranging our arrival was simple, and Orazio made us feel warmly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going until late afternoon. Grazie mille per la vostra ospitalità! Torneremo sicuramente.

We were four couples staying here, and Anna's breakfasts were a real treat. Orazio and Anna were warm, friendly hosts. The place was clean and very comfortable, surrounded by nature, though a little secluded.

The horses and stable were nice, but there wasn't much chance to explore the area on horseback, so the money felt wasted. We had asked in advance for a ride with trotting and cantering, based on our experience, and that was promised. We did gallop too, but only for about two minutes during the hour, and we barely trotted. Most of the ride was walking across the stable's meadow. We went into the forest only briefly, turned around a bush three times, then headed back. Near the end, they took us to the lungeing area so we could try cantering, but the horses didn't do anything without instructions from the leader. I was quite disappointed.

We arrived late at night and Orazio and his kind wife had dinner ready for us at check-in. We really appreciated their patience and the genuine home cooking, made with local products. The farmhouse sits in the quiet countryside of Puglia, surrounded by nature, and the beautiful horses add to the view. The wine selection was good too, small but well chosen. Grazie ad Orazio e alla sua cordiale moglie per l’ospitalità. Continuate così!
