The outdoor area is stunning, but the inside of the trulli pagliaio feels very old-fashioned, and I wouldn’t plan on cooking there. The hosts weren’t especially friendly, and it didn’t feel like children were welcome. Overall, we didn’t enjoy the stay much. To be clear, our child didn’t damage anything, and we’re careful guests who know we’re responsible for our child. The trash bins weren’t labeled, and the sofa bed wasn’t made up for sleeping, even though our flights had been delayed for a long time. The hosts rang the doorbell late in the evening while we were traveling with toddlers who were asleep. Since we were already in contact on WhatsApp, this felt unnecessary and inconsiderate. We can accept an apartment not meeting our standards, but not a lack of accommodating service. The response to our concerns showed very little service focus and blamed the guests too readily. If you want positive ratings, treat guests accordingly.

The gardens were my favorite part, and the owners were really nice. We had our 1-year-old with us, and the little playground made a big difference because she loved it. The countryside around the place was just what I pictured rural Puglia to be. A beautiful place to stay.

We came with a group of friends and had an amazing stay. The place is beautiful, the people running it are kind and attentive, and the food was exceptional. It would also be an incredible setting for a wedding or other special event. Thanks for such a wonderful visit. I can’t wait to come back someday.

The rooms look straight out of a fairytale, and the whole place feels magical. I had an amazing stay. A must when visiting puglia!

Gorgeous place, sparkling clean, and the service was amazing. I’d recommend it 100% for families, couples, or even a group of friends.
