Trullo Rampone

The garden and pool were beautiful and kept in impeccable condition by the owner. The location was quiet, between Locorotondo and Martina Franca, though the beach was about a 30-minute drive away. We stayed at Trullo Rampone in summer 2023, and wouldn't rent it again. The agency markets it as an upscale villa, which I don't think it is, and takes around 40% on top of what the owner receives. That fee felt completely unjustified. We asked about getting a cleaner and were quoted 100€, even though the usual local hourly rate is around 10€ and it shouldn't take more than three hours. The agency gets one star from me. The furniture was fine, if a little dated, and I have no particular complaints about it. There are two bathrooms but only one has a shower. The kitchen and its supplies don't match the price: there were assorted cups and plates, no cutting knives, and a jumble of old pans. There were no cleaning products beyond a broom, no dishwasher, and nowhere proper to leave dishes to dry. A few basics, even from IKEA, would make a difference. Overall, I found it overpriced because of the agency, and the villa lacks the minimum supplies a rental should have.
