The location was great, and the owner’s father kindly fixed the air conditioning when it stopped working. Still, we won’t be coming back. The apartment looked beautiful, but it had quite a few practical problems. The bed for two was only 140 cm wide and very soft, so neither of us slept well during our 10 days there. There was mold in the shower, and the water drained poorly and leaked out of the shower area. We also found a scratched Teflon pan and no electric kettle. After I mentioned the pan, the owner brought another one, though that one was still damaged, just less so. We asked for dishwasher tablets, but despite saying she would bring them, the owner never did. We didn’t want to buy a big box just to use a few tablets. For part of our stay, a family with a small baby was in the apartment next door. When the baby cried at night, it sounded as if it were in the next room. Bikes were available to rent, but the brakes didn’t work. I’m sharing all this because I wish I’d read a review like this before booking.

Convenient and well equipped, with a clean, nicely decorated space that was well organized.

Birdsong, rather than fish, was what woke me in the morning, even though the sea is only a few steps away. The place is furnished with taste and works well, with the kind of attention to detail you’d expect from a professional. The price felt very good for what you get. The owners are lovely and make you feel at home with their kindness and care. They seem to put real passion and professionalism into it. I’d definitely return.
