The girls at least got to eat, and they enjoyed the experience. My wife and I, though, paid €70 and went hungry. It was €35 to queue at a buffet, and if you arrived late there might be no food or even a plate left. When I asked the owner for clarification or a receipt, he treated me horribly. The food and price were terrible.

Set on a small rise on the slopes of Mount Etna, the "Oasi dell'Etna" farmhouse has beautiful views from the Bay of Taormina to the Catania coast. It's only 800 meters from the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli (Hundred Horse Chestnut Tree). There's a restaurant and pizzeria with a wood-fired oven, along with a tennis court, bocce court, and large pool with a solarium. Kids can use the playground, and the spacious outdoor areas are good for bringing your four-legged friends.

The pizza was top notch, made with quality ingredients and cooked just right. The view was beautiful too, and the staff were kind and friendly.
