Dipladenia Garden Country House

We’ve made this our favorite place to stay in Sicily and have returned for the past three years. Each visit has topped our expectations. The grounds are peaceful and spotless, the staff are so friendly, and the private parking on site makes things easy. The setting is beautiful, with incredible views of Mount Etna, immaculate warm pools, and an outdoor bar surrounded by cabanas, flowers, and lush plants. Breakfast comes included and has been one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Having comfort, beauty, quiet, and such good service all in one place makes this a true Sicilian gem. After traveling extensively around Italy, I’d put it among the country’s very best accommodations.

Our group of 29 spent a week at Dipladenia Garden House Resort, and the whole trip exceeded expectations. From arrival, the welcome and personal attention made everyone feel like family. The rooms were modern, spotless, and had excellent air conditioning, much appreciated in the Sicilian summer. We loved the saltwater pool, with its refreshing water and lovely views of the countryside and Mount Etna. The staff also put on a magical BBQ night, with great food, atmosphere, and plenty of laughter. Another highlight was the guided agriturismo visit. It was fascinating to learn about local farming traditions and sustainability, and it brought us closer to the land and culture. Many thanks to Miriana, Gabriele, Pina, Guisseppe and all the other staff for their generosity and care. Diplandenia is well placed for exploring Taormina and eastern Sicily’s hidden gems. It was an amazing, well-paced and well-catered vacation that every one of us loved. Highly, highly recommended!

We had a cozy room in a lovely hotel, in a truly beautiful location. The people were so friendly, and when we ran into trouble with the toll roads, they helped all of us out. They kept everything very clean and were always happy to help. I definitely recommend it, and if I come back to Sicily, I’ll stay here again.

You can see smoking Etna from the terrace, over breakfast, and even while swimming. The garden is lovely and well cared for, with orange and lemon trees. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. We’ll definitely return :)
