Hotel S. Andrea

The view was stunning, and the food was exceptional. I had a great weekend here, with spotless rooms and staff who were really friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay again.

The food and breakfast were both mediocre. I also found the beds extremely uncomfortable, the bathrooms below par, and ants and cockroaches in the rooms. At night, a retired caretaker would knock and demand quiet even when we weren't talking or trying to sleep.

Cockroaches and insects were everywhere, and ants even ended up in the salad. The food was poor: canned fruit salad, packaged breakfast snacks dusted with powdered sugar, dessert just the same, and pasta with diluted cheese instead of cream. The caretaker had no respect for privacy in the rooms. He'd open the door and tell people to be quiet so they wouldn't wake the ghosts. The hotel is rated three stars, but everything was disgusting, and friendliness and courtesy were at zero.

The balcony was so old it looked at risk of falling off, and the light fixture was old and dirty. The bathroom window wouldn't open, the shower head was clogged, and there was no hair dryer. A terrible hotel, highly not recommended.
