Mare - Etna - Taormina

We liked unwinding on the huge covered terrace in the evenings, and there was plenty of shade around the apartment. The bathroom was excellent and the place was very clean. It’s a compact apartment, but worked perfectly well for two. The kitchenette is tiny and has just the basics. The building is in a small residential and holiday complex with four apartments, each with its own terrace and garden area. It’s just four minutes from a broad pebble beach with very clear water. Restaurants are close enough to walk to, though having a car makes it easier to choose from more. There’s secure street parking in front of the building.

Everything was clean and had what we needed. The owner was very kind and helpful, and gave us good suggestions for places to visit. We were satisfied.

We stayed 9 days, and the sheets still weren’t changed, even after I asked. That’s why I’m taking off a star. Too bad... Morena
