We were really pleased we picked Belmare for our stay near Nerano. The village is lovely, calm, and welcoming, and the beach wasn't packed. The water was clear and clean. Bring water shoes or sandals, though: the smooth pebbles common around the Mediterranean aren't very comfortable barefoot. Our room had a great view, and the helpful staff made getting there by transport easier. They were also happy to provide extra towels and bedding. The place is convenient to town, and the beachfront stay felt like good value for the money. Those positives outweighed a few room issues: the shower took too long to warm up, some fittings leaked, and the worn pillows made sleeping less comfortable. A nice base for enjoying the Amalfi and Sorrento area while getting away from the crowds.

The owner was so kind when we had to leave just an hour after checking in because of circumstances. We were sorry to go so soon. Before that, we'd found a clean room, a lovely sea view from the big balcony, and a beautiful private beach. The staff were kind too. It's a place I'd recommend.

The pasta alla Nerano was excellent, and the fish tasted fresh and delicious. I visited both the beach and restaurant and would happily recommend them. The staff were professional, kind, and friendly. The sea was spectacular, and the quiet beach was truly gorgeous 😍
