Olga's Residence

We spent two weeks at Olga’s Residence, and the quiet decked beach area was a real highlight. It’s tucked away and peaceful, and from the villa garden we could see it along with the beautiful bay. Our teenage girls loved swimming and jumping into the sea there. Alfonso made sure everything was going well, with a friendly, hands-on approach that we really appreciated. The villa was comfortably furnished, and we made good use of both the barbecue and the well-kept pool. Its location also worked well for a relaxing break, with buses, trains and boats making it easy to get out and see the sights. There were plenty of good places to eat on the beachfront, as well as the more modern restaurant next door, where the food, service and atmosphere were great. We also enjoyed the traditional art gallery cafe and the small grocery shop, which made fantastic sandwiches to order. Thanks as well for the restaurant suggestions elsewhere.

The views from our apartment across the bay were amazing, and waking up to blue skies and that scenery every morning was a treat. The pool and gardens were lovely too. Alfonso and his brother Marco helped us out in so many ways, from taking us down to the private beach to setting up a boat trip and pointing out walks nearby. When we mentioned the roof terrace, Alfonso quickly got it furnished with everything we needed. I still don't know how he got it all up there! We had seven wonderful days at Olgas Residence with my husband Alan, our daughter Keeley and her fiancé Joe. Nerano is a small, friendly village where you can unwind and also visit other places nearby. There’s a shop for everyday needs and lots of good restaurants around. We’d definitely like to come back, and I’d recommend it. Thank you, Alfonso and Marco.

The apartment we stayed in was very clean and had a great view. The owner was kind and receptive to what we asked for. My favorite feature was the private pontoon set among the rocks by the sea. It felt intimate and away from the crowds in Amalfi or Capri, while offering the same kind of scenery.

There are a couple of little markets nearby for picking up snacks or food, and plenty of restaurants by the water, with more along the drive over. The apartment itself was lovely, inside a gated complex that I think has four units in total. The pool is shared with the other apartments. The view is beautiful, and there’s private access to the beach.
